historical sunday

i am linking up to Miss Ashley's event. today, i had the choice to write about 1930s-- an invention, a person, or an event. i chose an invention.

did you know? nylon stockings were first invented in 1938, by a man named Charles Stine. from then on, nylon stockings have been an essential part of most ladies' wardrobes.

I didn't realize that nylon stockings were first invented in 1938. That's interesting. Thanks for joining in the blog event, Johanna! :)

Great! I'm glad I taught someone something new-- I actually didn't know it either, until earlier today! I am glad to be able to participate in this blog event. Thanks for hosting it!

Thanks for commenting!

Where did you find that picture? I love that dress! :-)
I knew this, but I did not know the exact date. I also know originally they had a seam down the back... I'm not sure why.
