How Deep the Father's Love for Us

“God created the world out of nothing, and as long as we are nothing, He can make something out of us.”  Martin Luther

I love that quote from Martin Luther! Isn’t it wonderful how God made mankind so special? Completely separate from the animal kingdom! And He made it where we could (because of our sin) have a personal relationship with Him! None of the animals can have a relationship with God. The angels can’t either– “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.” (1 Pet. 1:12). Doesn’t that make you feel so loved? It makes me feel overwhelmed! ;)

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

I know that I will never fully understand nor grasp how much God loves me!

"Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made;
Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade.
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky."
